Sofia Costoulas (WTA 155) enters the W50 Guiyang first-round match on outdoor hard courts as the clear favorite over Hina Inoue (WTA 284), reflecting traders' consensus on her superior ranking and consistent hard-court results (21-11 in 2026). Costoulas has competed in higher-level events including US Open qualifying, while Inoue's recent ITF schedule shows mixed outcomes with several early exits in W75 events. Inoue leads their head-to-head 1-0 after a 2025 Wimbledon qualifying win on grass, and she claimed the 2024 Guiyang title, but the ranking gap and Costoulas' hard-court edge dominate current implied probabilities in this best-of-three encounter.
