Leo Borg, the top seed and higher-ranked player at around No. 547, enters this ITF M15 Båstad semifinal on clay with strong recent momentum after three straight wins in the draw, including a three-set quarterfinal victory. The 23-year-old Swede holds a solid 23-15 record in 2026 and an earlier title, though his clay results have been mixed. John Hallquist Lithen, ranked near No. 742 and the fourth seed, counters with superior 2026 win rate near 60 percent, including consistent clay form and an 8-2 stretch in recent events. Lithen also leads their head-to-head 1-0 from a January hard-court meeting. As fellow Swedes in a home tournament, both benefit from local conditions, creating a closely contested matchup where recent form and surface adaptation will likely decide the outcome.
