Aleksandre Bakshi holds a significant ranking edge over the 20-year-old Dmitry Bessonov in this ITF M15 Hurghada 6 hard-court encounter, with the Georgian veteran sitting near the top 700 while the Russian competes well outside the top 1,400. Bessonov leads their head-to-head 1-0 after a 7-6 6 retirement victory on hard courts in Doha last December. Both players enter with recent activity on Egyptian hard courts, where Bessonov posted a straight-sets win in the tournament on August 26 while Bakshi advanced before a three-set loss. Bessonov’s youth and recent hard-court exposure contrast with Bakshi’s greater experience and consistency at this level, though the younger player’s aggressive baseline game has proven effective against the left-handed Georgian in their prior meeting.
