Robin Bertrand enters this M15 Monastir hard-court matchup as the clear favorite, backed by his ATP ranking near 400 and proven success on the Tunisian swing, including multiple prior titles at the venue. The Frenchman has posted straight-set wins in the current edition, demonstrating strong serving and break-point conversion against lower-ranked opponents. Felix Roussel, a young Canadian ranked outside the top 1800 with junior experience, brings limited professional results and has alternated wins and losses in recent ITF events, often struggling against established pros on hard courts. Head-to-head gaps in ranking, recent form, and surface familiarity shape trader sentiment toward Bertrand, though Roussel's youth leaves room for competitive sets if he maintains consistency.
