This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ben Gurion International Airport in degrees Celsius on 20 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LLBG To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. Forecast models from sources like AccuWeather and timeanddate indicate a likely daily maximum of 31–33°C in Tel Aviv on August 20, consistent with the market's heavy weighting toward 33°C (68%) and 32°C (19%). Persistent subtropical high pressure, clear skies, and minimal cloud cover favor strong daytime heating, while the moderating influence of Mediterranean sea breezes and typical August humidity levels (around 60–70%) cap extremes. Climatological baselines show average August highs near 30–31°C, with current runs suggesting a modest positive anomaly without major synoptic shifts. Traders appear to price in stable conditions ahead of the next model update, with resolution hinging on the official recorded peak.
