This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 9 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Persistent dry southwest monsoon conditions are supporting elevated daytime temperatures across Singapore, positioning 33°C as the leading market outcome for the highest temperature on September 9. Official outlooks from the Meteorological Service Singapore note that maximum temperatures are likely to range between 33–35°C on most days in early September, with the potential to exceed 35°C on isolated days amid below-average rainfall and southeasterly to southwesterly winds. Short-range forecasts for September 9 show highs near 32–34°C (roughly 89–93°F), with afternoon thundery showers possible that could cap peaks but are not expected to prevent a reading in the low-to-mid 30s. Recent observations confirm the pattern: several days in early September have already reached 32–34°C under similar fair-to-partly cloudy skies and moderate humidity. Model consensus and climatological context—typical September averages near 31°C but elevated this year due to the dry spell—align with the market-implied odds favoring 33°C (65%) over 32°C (27.5%) or 34°C (4.5%). Updated official guidance or model runs in the next 24–48 hours could refine the exact peak, but current conditions point to limited upside beyond 34°C.
