This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Incheon Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 24 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rksi To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Late-summer conditions over the Korean Peninsula, driven by persistent North Pacific High influence and typical late-August climatology with historical daily highs near 29–31°C, position Seoul-Incheon for a maximum temperature of 30–31°C on August 24. Recent Korea Meteorological Administration ensemble guidance and short-range forecasts indicate daytime peaks in the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius under mostly cloudy skies with 20% precipitation probability, which may limit radiative heating and keep outcomes tightly clustered. The market’s near-even split between 30°C (38%) and 31°C (39%) reflects this model consensus and inherent forecast uncertainty in steering patterns and boundary-layer moisture, with lower-probability tails for 32°C or higher arising only if clearer conditions develop. Updated KMA model runs and official observations tomorrow morning will provide the final data for resolution.
