Official National Weather Service forecasts for Seattle on August 27 point to gradual morning clearing under southwesterly flow, supporting a daily high near 73°F amid typical marine moderation and seasonal norms around 75°F. Recent model runs and observations from the prior day’s warmer conditions (mid-70s to low-80s) indicate cooling as onshore winds strengthen and cloud cover lingers early, limiting peak solar heating. This aligns with trader consensus favoring the 72-73°F and 70-71°F brackets, reflecting high confidence in sub-75°F outcomes given the absence of offshore flow or strong ridging that could push temperatures higher. Updated NWS briefings and real-time observations will refine exact maxima as the day progresses.
