Panama City's tropical climate during the rainy season typically produces daily maximum temperatures around 30–31°C, with high humidity, frequent afternoon showers, and variable cloud cover moderating peak heat. Recent forecasts from agencies like the Met Office and AccuWeather align with this baseline, projecting a high near 31°C for August 23 amid typical steering patterns and moisture from the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The closely matched 31°C and 32°C market shares reflect minor uncertainties in exact cloud timing, localized convection, or model spreads rather than any anomalous warming or cooling event. Historical August data shows highs rarely exceed 33°C or fall below 29°C under these conditions, supporting the current trader consensus on near-normal outcomes.
