Recent forecasts from multiple models point to a maximum temperature near 26°C in Munich on August 26, supported by building high pressure after morning showers and light northeasterly winds limiting further warming. Afternoon readings are projected to peak around 25–27°C under partly cloudy skies, consistent with the market’s heaviest positioning on those outcomes and slightly above the 23.1°C climatological average high. Cooler conditions today under rain have kept surface moisture elevated, moderating overnight lows near 13–15°C and capping daytime recovery. Updated runs through the evening of August 25 show minimal model spread, reinforcing trader focus on the narrow 25–27°C band ahead of final observations.
