This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Malpensa Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 27 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=limc If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Forecast models from sources including ECMWF, GFS, and local services like ilMeteo and the Met Office indicate a daily maximum of 30–32°C for Milan on August 27 under stable high pressure, light easterly or variable winds, and partly cloudy skies with minimal precipitation risk. This setup favors afternoon warming in the Po Valley without strong advection or cloud cover to limit insolation. Current runs cluster around a peak near 30–31°C (roughly 86–88°F), aligning with the market’s heaviest positioning on those two outcomes. Historical late-August norms for Milan hover near 28–29°C, so the slight elevation reflects the ongoing ridge and recent dry conditions. Model consensus remains tight with only modest spread in peak timing or local urban heat effects, keeping probabilities concentrated in the 29–32°C band. The next official updates from Italian meteorological agencies or refreshed global model runs will provide the clearest near-term signal for any adjustments.
