Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and consensus models indicate a peak temperature in the lower 90s for Miami on August 23, driven by southerly flow, dew points near 78°F, and heat indices exceeding 105°F before afternoon convection develops. Recent record warmth, including a 100°F reading on August 18, reflects an anomalously warm air mass that has only partially moderated, keeping the 92–93°F bin as the market favorite at 56.5% implied probability. Scattered thunderstorms and increasing cloud cover are expected to limit further intensification after midday, aligning trader consensus with the 90–91°F range as the next most likely outcome while assigning low odds to extremes outside the 88–95°F envelope.
