This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Benito Juárez International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 20 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Benito Juárez International Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/mx/mexico-city/MMMX. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Trader sentiment for the Mexico City highest temperature on August 20, 2026, centers on 25°C (70.5% implied probability) because multiple meteorological models and historical climatology converge on a daytime maximum near that level. August averages place daily highs around 23–24°C in Mexico City’s high-altitude basin (roughly 2,240 m elevation), with typical ranges of 21–26°C; the market’s tight clustering on 24–26°C reflects this baseline, tempered by the rainy season’s frequent afternoon cloud cover and showers that suppress peak readings. Recent data reinforce the positioning: forecasts from sources such as AccuWeather and timeanddate.com indicate highs of approximately 24–25°C (75–77°F) under partly cloudy to overcast skies with late showers, consistent with the market’s leading outcomes. No anomalous warming events, clear-sky persistence, or stronger high-pressure systems have emerged to push probabilities toward 26°C or above, while cooler marine influences and precipitation keep sub-24°C scenarios less favored. As resolution approaches, traders are watching the final official observation (likely from Mexico’s meteorological service) for any late-day deviation driven by timing of showers or wind shifts.
