Trader consensus around 30–32°C for Lucknow’s August 25 maximum reflects active southwest monsoon conditions, with official IMD guidance forecasting 32°C under generally cloudy skies and scattered thundershowers. Persistent cloud cover limits surface heating while evaporative cooling from rain episodes caps peaks near the seasonal average of 31–32°C. Model runs show modest spread tied to exact shower timing and boundary-layer moisture, producing the tight 31°C (32.5%) versus 30°C (26.5%) and 32°C (21%) probabilities. Historical August data indicate similar days rarely exceed 34°C when organized convection is present, keeping higher-temperature bins below 15% combined. Updated radar and short-range guidance later today will refine the final observed maximum.
