Monsoon-driven cloud cover, frequent thunderstorms, and elevated humidity are capping insolation and latent-heat release across Uttar Pradesh, anchoring Lucknow’s expected daily maximum near the India Meteorological Department’s 32 °C guidance. Recent heavy rainfall (over 50 mm in 24 hours) has further cooled the boundary layer while steering patterns limit clear-sky heating windows. Ensemble forecasts and regional observations show modest spread between 32–34 °C depending on exact timing and intensity of convective cells, producing the tightest market clustering at 33 °C (39.5 %) and 32 °C (30 %). Traders weigh these variables against historical August baselines around 33–34 °C when assessing resolution risk.
