This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Trader consensus clusters around 32–34°C for Kuala Lumpur’s August 25 maximum because official Malaysian Meteorological Department guidance and ensemble models project isolated afternoon thunderstorms amid typical southwest monsoon flow. These convective cells often develop rapidly after midday solar heating, releasing latent heat while increasing cloud cover and evaporative cooling that caps peak readings near 33°C. Historical August baselines show similar variability of 1–2°C driven by exact timing of seabreeze convergence and boundary-layer moisture. With only modest model spread and no strong anomalous ridge or dry spell indicated in the latest runs, traders assign the highest implied probability to the middle of the narrow forecast envelope while discounting extremes outside 30–35°C.
