This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Masroor Airbase Station in degrees Celsius on 19 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Masroor Airbase Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/pk/karachi/OPKC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Trader sentiment for the highest temperature in Karachi on August 19, 2026, centers on 32°C (60.5% implied probability) and 33°C (24.5%), with 31°C at 14.5%. These outcomes reflect the typical August monsoon regime in coastal Karachi, where high humidity, frequent cloud cover, and scattered showers moderate daytime maxima. Long-term climatology and current forecasts show average highs of 31–33°C (roughly 88–91°F), with AccuWeather’s August 2026 outlook indicating daily peaks generally between 31–34°C. Recent model guidance and seasonal patterns reinforce this range: monsoon moisture and associated cloudiness suppress intense solar heating that could push readings to 34°C or above, while preventing cooler anomalies below 31°C. Short-term forecasts for August 19 point to overcast skies with possible early showers, consistent with the market’s strong weighting toward 32°C as the most probable peak. Resolution depends on the official maximum recorded at the primary meteorological station, making the tight clustering around the seasonal norm the dominant driver of current odds.
