This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Recent official forecasts from sources including the Turkish State Meteorological Service and international models project a daytime high near 29–30°C in Istanbul on August 26 under mostly sunny skies, northeasterly winds of 5–10 m/s, and negligible precipitation. This aligns with typical late-August climatology for the region, where high pressure and clear conditions support strong daytime heating moderated by the Bosphorus and Black Sea influences. Market-implied odds heavily favor 27–28°C as the peak, likely reflecting trader emphasis on station-specific measurements, potential sea-breeze cooling, or minor model spread in maximum temperatures. No significant forecast revisions have occurred in the past 24 hours, with stable atmospheric conditions expected through the resolution window.
