This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Traders have converged on 28°C as the most probable peak temperature for Istanbul on August 24, reflecting consensus from recent forecast model runs showing a typical late-summer high under mostly sunny skies with light northerly winds. Official guidance from agencies such as the Turkish State Meteorological Service and international ensembles points to afternoon maxima near this level, consistent with August climatology where daily highs average 27–29°C. Limited variability in steering patterns and absence of significant cloud cover or precipitation have kept probabilities tightly clustered around 27–29°C, while lower outcomes remain discounted due to the season’s established warmth and stable high-pressure influence. Updated model outputs and real-time observations continue to support this narrow range ahead of final daily measurements.
