This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Istanbul Airport in degrees Celsius on 23 Aug '26. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Current forecasts from multiple models converge on a daytime high of 28–29 °C for Istanbul on August 23 under mostly sunny skies and light northeasterly flow. Sea of Marmara moderation and urban heat-island effects at official stations narrow the range, while typical late-August climatology (average highs 28–30 °C) reinforces trader focus on the 28 °C outcome priced at 60.5 %. Recent stable high-pressure patterns and absence of stronger southerly advection have kept probabilities concentrated on 27–29 °C, with minimal shift expected absent last-minute model updates or wind changes before resolution.
