This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Istanbul Airport in degrees Celsius on 15 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LTFM To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Recent forecasts from meteorological models, including those referenced by timeanddate and AccuWeather, point to a daytime high near 27–28 °C (82 °F) under scattered clouds and moderate northerly winds on August 15, aligning with Istanbul’s August climatology of average highs around 28 °C. Traders appear to favor the 26 °C outcome at 56.5 % implied probability, likely reflecting expectations that cloud cover and wind will cap peak readings slightly below seasonal norms observed in recent days. Supporting context includes stable high pressure and minimal precipitation chances, which limit further warming, though model runs can shift with updated data releases from agencies like the Turkish State Meteorological Service. Upcoming forecast updates over the next 12–24 hours will clarify whether conditions trend toward the heavily favored 25–26 °C range or allow a brief push to 27 °C.
