The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Ongoing extreme heat across North Texas, driven by a strong subtropical high-pressure ridge, clear skies, and southwesterly flow, positions National Weather Service model consensus for a Dallas high of 106–108°F on August 24. This follows multiple days of 104–108°F readings during the late-summer heat wave, with low humidity and strong daytime insolation supporting peak temperatures near the 107°F August 24 record. Trader sentiment reflects these verified conditions and forecast stability, though minor model adjustments or unexpected cloud cover could shift outcomes within the 104–109°F range before official observations finalize.
