This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Dallas Love Field Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 23 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kdal To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Persistent summer heat across North Texas, with Dallas recording multiple 100°F+ days and a 106°F peak earlier in August, underpins trader focus on the 106-107°F bin. National Weather Service and private models indicate a sunny, hot pattern with southerly flow and minimal cloud cover supporting a high near 105-108°F on August 23, consistent with August climatology but elevated by the broader 2026 heat wave. Light winds and typical humidity levels favor peak readings in that narrow range, while slight model spread on afternoon mixing keeps secondary probability on 104-105°F and 108-109°F. Official Dallas-Fort Worth observations will resolve the market once the daily maximum is confirmed.
