Recent forecasts from the China Meteorological Administration and multiple models point to a high of 33–34 °C in Beijing on August 24, with partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and a chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms that could cap the peak. These conditions align with trader emphasis on the tightly bunched 32–34 °C outcomes. Afternoon convection tied to monsoon moisture remains the key variable: earlier or heavier rain would favor the lower end of the range, while prolonged sunshine or delayed precipitation could push readings toward 35 °C or above. Historical August averages near 30 °C and recent above-normal warmth provide context, but short-term model consensus currently supports the clustered probabilities. Updated guidance tomorrow morning will clarify the timing of any storms.
