Official National Weather Service forecasts for Austin on August 28 project a high near 100–102°F under sunny skies, with only slight chances of showers and easterly winds around 5 mph. Persistent high pressure and typical late-summer conditions support this range, producing heat indices near 110°F. Model consensus shows minimal day-to-day shifts, aligning trader sentiment with the 47% implied probability on 100–101°F.
