This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 23 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=katl To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on August 23 project a sunny high near 92°F under northwest flow at 5–10 mph, supported by a drier post-frontal air mass that has lowered humidity and kept heat indices modest after recent peaks in the mid- to upper 90s. This setup aligns with seasonal norms around 88–89°F while favoring the low-90s range, as reflected in the market’s leading 50% implied probability on 92–93°F and secondary weighting toward 94–95°F. Model consensus and historical analogs suggest limited upside potential absent unexpected warming, with final observations from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport determining resolution.
