The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eham To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Forecast models from sources like the Met Office and AccuWeather point to a maximum of 23–25°C in Amsterdam on August 26, driven by a moderating westerly flow and increasing cloud cover that limits daytime heating compared to earlier August peaks. Late-summer climatology favors declining highs near the 22°C average, with sea-breeze effects from the North Sea adding coastal cooling. Ensemble spread creates tight market odds between 25°C and 26°C, reflecting minor uncertainties in exact cloud timing, wind shifts, or insolation rather than major synoptic changes. Traders weigh these short-range variables against historical variability, where a single model run adjustment can tip the daily maximum by 1°C. No major recent developments have altered the baseline outlook.
