Recent supply constraints and steady AI demand have anchored B200 on-demand rates near the $6.50–$7.00 range across neocloud providers as of late August 2026. Reference data from CCIR and aggregator sites show neocloud medians at approximately $6.69 per GPU-hour on guaranteed on-demand terms, with marketplaces slightly lower around $6.38 and hyperscalers (AWS, Oracle) remaining far higher at $14+. This distribution keeps the Polymarket’s two leading bins closely matched, reflecting trader focus on the liquid mid-tier segment rather than outlier enterprise or spot pricing. Key dynamics include ongoing allocation tightness for the 180 GB HBM3e Blackwell parts, launched in early 2025, alongside competitive pressure from providers such as Lambda, CoreWeave, Nebius, and RunPod that set the effective street rate. Newer B300 capacity trades at a modest premium (~$7.50), while interruptible/spot offerings sit well below $4, creating clear segmentation. No large-scale supply surge has materialized in the past month, and median on-demand prices have held firm or edged higher year-over-year, supporting the current market-implied odds around the $6–$7.50 cluster. Upcoming month-end reporting on capacity utilization and any fresh neocloud listings will likely determine whether the balance tips toward the $6.00–$6.50 or $6.50–$7.00 outcome.
