The tight contest between Max Verstappen at 37.5% and Kimi Antonelli at 36.5% reflects Verstappen’s unmatched record of five Mexican Grand Prix victories at the high-altitude Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, where thin air rewards Red Bull’s straight-line speed and balance, combined with the team’s strong recent points haul. Antonelli enters on the back of a dominant United States Grand Prix win from pole and leads the championship by 123 points, needing only a top-nine finish to claim the title as the youngest champion. Mercedes and Red Bull are projected to lead the field over Ferrari and McLaren, while Charles Leclerc’s consistent podium history at the venue supports his 10.5% implied probability amid a tightly bunched field where small margins in qualifying and strategy will decide the outcome.

Rules

This is a polymarket on the winner of the 2026 F1 Mexican Grand Prix, scheduled for Nov 1, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Mexican Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Nov 8, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.” This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially listed in first place in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The Final Classification is typically released 30-60 minutes after the race ends and includes any applied time penalties and official adjustments. Disqualifications or changes made after the publication of the Final Classification will not affect market resolution. The timing of the podium ceremony does not determine the result for this market — only the FIA's published classification will be used to resolve this market. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
