This is a polymarket on the driver who achieves the fastest lap at the 2026 F1 Dutch Grand Prix, scheduled for Aug 23, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Dutch Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Aug 30, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
Charles Leclerc’s dominant 99% implied probability for fastest lap at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix stems primarily from Ferrari’s superior long-run pace at Zandvoort, confirmed by his sprint performance where he ran softs effectively, overtook on track, and posted competitive sector times despite a sixth-place grid slot. The SF-26’s cornering strengths and tire management edge over McLaren and Mercedes give Leclerc the best shot at a late-race undercut or free stop on fresh rubber for the bonus point. Trader consensus reflects this form advantage over rivals like Norris, Antonelli, and Russell. Scenarios that could still shift the outcome include a safety car enabling a frontrunner’s late soft-tyre stop, significant strategy convergence reducing Ferrari’s edge, or unexpected weather altering degradation patterns on the banked circuit.
