This market will resolve according to the person who wins Esports Personality of the Year at the 2026 Esports Awards, scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida in November 2026. If the award is not presented, is canceled, or a winner has not been announced by December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple people are named co-winners, this market will resolve in favor of the person whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Esports Awards (esportsawards.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The wide-open field of 12 nominees across League of Legends, Valorant, and broader streaming scenes has kept implied probabilities tightly clustered for Esports Personality of the Year, with Thug holding a narrow 51% edge as defending champion from 2025. Traders see limited separation because distinct fanbases back candidates such as Caedrel, Faker, Boaster, Shotzzy, Jynxzi, and Magnus Carlsen, preventing any single personality from pulling away despite Thug’s prior win and S8UL background. Recent nomination announcements in early August have reinforced this balance, as voting remains open through November with daily ballots allowing momentum shifts from ongoing tournaments and content drops but no dominant late surge yet materializing.
