Arsenal’s league title win with 85 points and the league’s best defensive record shaped strong trader consensus around multiple Gunners selections for the 2026 PFA Team of the Year, including David Raya, William Saliba, Gabriel, Jurrien Timber, and Declan Rice. Bruno Fernandes’ record 21 assists and Manchester United’s third-place finish boosted his inclusion and Players’ Player of the Year nod, while Erling Haaland’s 27-goal Golden Boot haul and Manchester City’s runner-up standing supported his forward spot alongside teammates Rayan Cherki and Nico O’Reilly. Late-season momentum, clean-sheet totals, and peer voting patterns from the 38-match campaign drove the final XI, with Brentford’s Igor Thiago and Bournemouth-linked standouts reflecting broader statistical and positional value recognized by players.
