This market refers to the Dota 2 Upper Bracket Semifinal 1 match between PARIVISION and Team Yandex in the PARI Universe Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "PARIVISION" if PARIVISION win the match against Team Yandex. This market will resolve to "Team Yandex" if Team Yandex win the match against PARIVISION. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Team Yandex enters this PARI Universe upper-bracket semifinal with strong recent momentum, having won five straight best-of-three series including victories over Team Liquid and Astra Invicta. The squad’s consistent performances against top competition, combined with a slight edge in head-to-head results over the past year, underpin trader consensus favoring them at roughly 56% implied probability. PARIVISION remains competitive after rebounding with a 2-1 win over Liquid but carries a recent loss to Team Spirit and trails slightly in overall series history. Both CIS-region sides feature experienced rosters with no reported roster changes or availability issues ahead of the best-of-three. Schedule positioning in a double-elimination bracket adds pressure, as an early exit carries significant implications for both teams’ playoff paths.

In Dota 2, a "kill" for markets like team total kills, kill handicap, and interval kills is counted when an enemy hero dies and the game awards a hero kill event to the opposing team's score, which is the number shown on the in-game scoreboard and tracked in scoreboard feeds as team kills. In practical terms, this includes any enemy hero death that increments a team's kill score, regardless of who got the last hit, including situations where the victim dies to creeps, a tower, or neutrals as long as the kill is still credited to the enemy team. It does not include denies, such as killing your own allied units, and it also does not include building or objective destructions like towers, barracks, or Roshan, since those are tracked separately from kills. Assists also do not count as kills, because they are recorded as a separate player stat and multiple players can assist on a single kill.
