Vitality enters the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 group-stage BO3 as the clear favorite against 9z, driven by their #2 world ranking, five straight series wins, and recent ESL Pro League Season 24 title. The French roster featuring ZywOo, ropz, flameZ, mezii, and apEX shows dominant recent form and map-pool control on staples like Dust2 and Cache. In contrast, 9z sits around #15–17 with mixed results in recent events such as Thunderpick, including losses to stronger sides. Historical matchups favor Vitality overall, though 9z has secured occasional map wins. Trader consensus reflects this gap through high implied probability for Vitality, tempered by the inherent variance of BO3 format and 9z's potential to exploit any off-day or veto misstep in the Swiss stage opener.
