MOUZ enters the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 quarterfinals as slight favorites against Aurora Gaming in this best-of-three, reflecting their higher Valve Regional Standings position and 4-1 historical series edge, though both sides feature refreshed rosters making this their first clash in current lineups. Aurora, ranked around fourth globally, arrives on a three-series win streak after advancing at 3-1 with victories over G2, Nemiga, and Liquid in the Swiss stage, showing strength on maps like Anubis and Cache. MOUZ also finished 3-1, rebounding from an opening loss to Liquid with wins over 9z, MongolZ, and Spirit, led by consistent performances from torzsi and xertioN. The single-elimination format heightens the stakes for VRS points and playoff progression, with both teams demonstrating strong recent form and deep runs this season. Trader consensus around 62% implied probability for MOUZ aligns with their slight ranking advantage in a closely contested matchup.

Rules

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between MOUZ and Aurora Gaming in the PGL Masters Bucharest Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET. This market is decided solely by the round score of Map 1 of this match, and is independent of which team wins Map 1 or the overall match. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ wins Map 1 by 4 or more rounds, including any overtime (i.e. MOUZ's round total on Map 1 exceeds Aurora Gaming's by 4 or more). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Aurora Gaming". Map 1 must be played to completion, with a final round score determined by rounds actually played, for this market to resolve to a team. If Map 1 is completed in this way, the market resolves on that round score regardless of how the remainder of the match concludes (including any later forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default). If Map 1 is not played at all, is not played to completion, or is decided by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default rather than by rounds played to a conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is canceled, this market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence. This market may resolve only when the listed period of play has concluded and the result can be definitively determined by the listed resolution source(s).
