Chase Brown enters the 2026 season as the clear lead back for the Bengals, coming off consecutive 990-plus rushing-yard campaigns in 2024 and 2025 while also posting strong receiving production. Through five games he has 71 carries for 246 yards at a modest 3.5 yards per attempt, with an expanded receiving role (24 catches) offset by a recent increase in touches for Samaje Perine, particularly in shotgun and passing situations. The offensive line returns intact and Joe Burrow remains healthy, supporting a balanced attack, though Cincinnati’s early-season run efficiency has lagged. Brown has no injury designation heading into the Week 6 bye and a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens, with the backfield split and overall offensive balance remaining key variables for his final rushing total.
