UNLV enters the November 7 Mountain West matchup at Allegiant Stadium as the consensus favorite after both teams reached 5-3 records, with the Rebels holding a slight edge in offensive production averaging 25 points and 383 yards per game behind quarterback Jackson Arnold and leading rusher Jai’Den Thomas. Wyoming arrives on a three-game winning streak capped by a 28-14 victory over Air Force but faces a challenging road environment where the Cowboys have struggled, scoring under 17 points in three of four away contests this season. Multiple Wyoming offensive line starters remain out for the year, limiting their ground attack, while UNLV’s defense has shown vulnerability after allowing 24 points to Northern Illinois. Conference positioning adds weight, as both sides chase positioning behind New Mexico, with the indoor setting eliminating weather variables and emphasizing execution in a primetime CBS Sports Network contest.
