Arizona enters Friday night’s Big 12 matchup at home with a 6-2 record after a 34-26 loss at Texas Tech snapped its five-game win streak, while TCU sits at 4-4 following a comeback win over Kansas. The contest features a stylistic clash between Arizona’s top-tier passing attack, paced by quarterback Noah Fifita, and TCU’s conference-leading scoring defense that has allowed just 14.1 points per game and only four passing touchdowns all season. Multiple running backs are unavailable or questionable for the Horned Frogs, along with key defensive backs and linemen, while Arizona is missing starting cornerback Jay’Vion Cole and several other defenders. Both teams carry injury depth concerns that could influence run-game production and secondary coverage in Tucson.
