No. 6 Indiana enters as the clear favorite in this Big Ten matchup, with traders assigning the Hoosiers roughly 72-73% implied probability to win at Michigan Stadium. The market reflects Indiana’s elite defense, which leads the conference in points allowed and sacks while maintaining a 31-game streak without a negative turnover margin, paired with a balanced offense featuring quarterback Josh Hoover’s efficient passing and a productive ground game. Michigan’s recent 21-18 win over Penn State injected some momentum, but the Wolverines’ switch to freshman quarterback Tommy Carr for his first start highlights ongoing offensive inconsistencies against a unit that has held most opponents under 17 points. The Hoosiers are seeking a bounce-back after their narrow loss to Ohio State, while Michigan aims to leverage home-field advantage and the new signal-caller’s mobility in a game where historical series trends favor the Wolverines yet recent form points the other way.
