No. 1 Georgia enters the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry at home with a perfect 6-0 record and the nation’s top scoring offense and defense after a 20-17 road win at Alabama. The Bulldogs have won nine straight meetings and hold a dominant series edge, though the all-time mark in Athens remains even. Auburn arrives at 3-2 off a bye following a loss at Tennessee, but will be without key linebacker Xavier Atkins and faces Georgia’s depth at running back even with Chauncey Bowens out. Nate Frazier’s expected return and the Bulldogs’ ability to overcome multiple receiver and secondary absences highlight their roster strength. Auburn’s dual-threat quarterback Byrum Brown and defensive front represent the primary paths to competitiveness, while Georgia’s efficiency in both phases and home environment shape the current market positioning ahead of the 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
