The early 2026-27 Bundesliga table after seven matchdays shows Borussia Mönchengladbach on just three points, with Union Berlin, Schalke 04, and VfB Stuttgart level on six. Newly promoted sides Schalke, SC Paderborn, and SV Elversberg face the steepest challenge adapting to the league's pace and physical demands, a pattern that has historically produced multiple relegations among promoted clubs. Union Berlin's heavy negative goal difference and limited attacking output compound their position, while mid-table sides like Hamburger SV and 1. FC Köln sit closer to safety but remain vulnerable to poor runs. Fixture difficulty, European commitments for higher clubs, and the standard 34-point survival threshold will shape the coming months, with simulations currently assigning the highest relegation probabilities to Schalke and Paderborn.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Bundesliga at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Bundesliga season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Bundesliga for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Bundesliga, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Bundesliga. If the 2026-27 Bundesliga season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Bundesliga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
