The early weeks of the 2026-27 Bundesliga season have produced a tightly bunched clean-sheet race among more than a dozen clubs, reflected in the near-even implied probabilities across the field. Borussia Dortmund leads with four shutouts and the league's stingiest goals-against average, while Mainz, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, SC Freiburg, and others sit within one or two clean sheets after five or six matches. Goalkeeper form, compact defensive structures, and favorable early fixtures have kept several sides competitive, preventing any single team from pulling away. With roughly 28 rounds remaining and results highly variable, trader consensus prices in substantial uncertainty over which side will finish with the most clean sheets.
