Vila Nova leads the 2026 Série B table on 61 points from 33 matches, level with Juventude and narrowly ahead of Novorizontino and Fortaleza, both on 60 points. The top two finishers earn direct promotion to Série A, while teams finishing third through sixth enter playoffs for the remaining two spots. Recent results have kept the top four tightly bunched, with Vila Nova showing strong home form and Novorizontino boasting the best goal difference. The bottom of the table is settled, with Ponte Preta and América-MG already relegated. Remaining fixtures, including key clashes among the leaders, and the playoff structure will shape final promotion outcomes over the closing rounds.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team achieves promotion from the Brazil Série B to the Brazil Série A for the 2027 season at the conclusion of the current league season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official promotion is defined as a team clinching a place in the Brazil Série A for the 2027 season through their final standing in the Brazil Série B, via playoff victory, or by any other official league decision recognized by the Brazil Série B and Brazil Série A. If the 2026 Brazil Série B season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the Brazil Série B and Brazil Série A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
