Lula's position as incumbent president seeking re-election anchors trader consensus for first place in Amazonas during the October 4 first round, with his Workers' Party (PT) maintaining historical strength in northern states amid national polling leads of roughly 39-42% versus Flávio Bolsonaro's 30-33%. Flávio, the Liberal Party (PL) candidate backed by his father Jair Bolsonaro, consolidates right-wing support but trails in the state due to limited regional penetration. Minor candidates including Ronaldo Caiado, Renan Santos, and Romeu Zema register negligible shares, reducing vote fragmentation risks. Recent campaign activity has emphasized economic continuity and security priorities without major shifts in Amazonas-specific dynamics ahead of the vote.
