Jordan White captured the WBC International lightweight title with a knockout victory over Luis Torres Valenzuela in round eight at the USC Galen Center. The 29-year-old American’s aggressive pressure, heavy hands, and recent form against ranked opposition drove overwhelming trader consensus at 99% implied probability. White’s experience, home-crowd advantage, and ability to hurt southpaws with combinations outweighed Torres’ youth, 22-1 record, and top-15 rankings entering the bout. In boxing, such lopsided pricing typically reflects stylistic edges, momentum, and the wisdom of crowds assessing head-to-head dynamics. While an early upset or injury remains theoretically possible in any fight, the outcome aligned with pre-fight positioning and confirmed White’s path to the vacant belt.
