Bo Nix has produced just six passing touchdowns through five 2026 games for the 3-2 Broncos, completing 59.9% of his passes for 942 yards amid the league’s 30th-ranked offense in total yards. Sean Payton’s return to play-calling duties in Week 5 has yet to spark consistent production, with Nix posting low yards per attempt and limited deep-ball volume against a brutal early schedule. Denver’s ground game remains inefficient, limiting play-action opportunities, while key contributors like rookie RB Jonah Coleman and WR Pat Bryant are expected back from injured reserve soon. Upcoming matchups ease after the Week 6 Thursday night contest versus Seattle, but sustained low passing volume and efficiency could cap Nix’s full-season touchdown total unless the offense generates more explosive plays and red-zone opportunities.
