Seoul Samsung Thunders enter the early 2026-27 KBL regular-season matchup with strong momentum after opening 3-0, including recent home wins over Anyang and Goyang Sono plus a road victory at Suwon KT. Changwon LG Sakers sit lower in the standings with a more uneven start marked by a win over Wonju DB offset by losses to Suwon KT and others. Historical head-to-head results favor the Sakers, who have won the large majority of recent encounters. The game at Jamsil Arena highlights Thunders' early-season form and home-court edge against Sakers' inconsistent offensive and defensive execution, with roster health and rotation adjustments remaining key variables for both sides in the opening weeks.
