Alexander Zverev enters the Erste Bank Open quarterfinal as the clear favorite against Arthur Fery on indoor hard courts, backed by his world No. 2 ranking and imminent ascent to No. 1 after a straight-sets win over Tallon Griekspoor. The German’s superior serving (averaging over 10 aces per match) and 315-130 hard-court record give him a significant edge in a matchup where Fery holds just a 9-9 ATP main-draw mark on the surface. Fery reached this stage via an upset over Lorenzo Musetti but showed signs of fatigue and cramps in that three-setter, while their only prior meeting ended in straight sets for Zverev at Wimbledon. Trader consensus reflects this gap through heavy implied probabilities favoring the higher-ranked player.
