Botic van de Zandschulp enters the all-Dutch Cincinnati Open first-round matchup on hard courts after a strong run at the preceding Montreal Masters, where he defeated Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Daniil Medvedev, and Hubert Hurkacz before falling in the quarterfinals. Tallon Griekspoor holds a 4-2 head-to-head edge, including recent wins on both grass and hard, with his most recent victory coming in straight sets plus a tiebreak at the 2026 Libema Open. Griekspoor posted an upset over Alexander Zverev in Montreal but carries a weaker 2026 win-loss record overall. Both players compete without reported injuries, making recent hard-court form and the established rivalry the primary factors shaping trader consensus around the implied probabilities.
