Tirante enters this Cincinnati Open round-of-32 clash on hard courts with significant momentum after upsetting Novak Djokovic in the second round, securing a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory that highlights improved baseline consistency and mental resilience on the surface. The Argentine, currently ranked No. 50, holds a narrow ranking edge over the 20-year-old Spaniard Landaluce at No. 67, who advanced by defeating Jack Draper and Matteo Arnaldi. Their lone prior meeting saw Landaluce prevail in Miami qualifying. Both players show solid recent hard-court results, though Tirante’s higher-ranked status and recent marquee win shape trader consensus around his implied probability in a closely contested encounter.
